The Challenge

In the home improvement and interior materials sector, the product page is the single most consequential conversion surface a brand controls. Consumers making decisions about flooring and skirting boards need to visualize the product in their own space, calculate quantities accurately, find a nearby dealer, and access technical documentation — all without leaving the page or losing confidence. Yıldız Entegre, Turkey's largest integrated forest products manufacturer, had the product depth and quality to lead the market; what was needed was a digital product experience capable of matching that ambition. A fragmented, feature-sparse product page was leaving meaningful engagement — and revenue — on the table.

Our Approach

Kalm Works approached the redesign as a conversion-focused UX exercise grounded in the specific decision-making psychology of home improvement shoppers. We consolidated six distinct user needs — dealer discovery, quantity planning, color visualization, application tool access, certification review, and product comparison — into a single, scroll-optimized page architecture. Every feature was designed to reduce friction at a different stage of the purchase funnel, from early inspiration to final purchase authorization. The result is a product page that functions as a complete sales environment, not merely a catalogue entry.

Dealer Locator Integration: A prominent 'Find a Dealer' entry point enabling customers to locate authorized Yıldız Entegre stockists instantly — reducing drop-off at the critical moment of purchase intent.

Measurement & Quantity Calculator: An interactive module allowing users to input room dimensions in square metres and instantly receive accurate parquet and skirting board quantities, eliminating estimation anxiety and over-ordering.

Immersive Colour Visualisation: A three-panel visual display presenting the product colour in two detailed product shots alongside a complementary nature-inspired lifestyle image, giving customers the confidence to choose finishes remotely.

Single-Click Application Access: Direct deep-links to Yıldız Entegre's three core digital tools — virtual showroom, parquet selector, and the 'Snap, Select, Apply' AR feature — embedded within the product page context.

Professional Documentation Hub: High-resolution asset downloads and certification documents accessible in-page for architects, interior designers, and specification writers who require verified technical data.

The Result

The redesigned product page established a new benchmark for digital product experience in Turkey's interior materials sector — transforming a passive catalogue page into an active, multi-functional sales environment.
