The Challenge
A 50th anniversary is one of the most significant milestone moments in a company's history — but milestone marketing carries a unique creative risk. Done poorly, anniversary campaigns become exercises in self-congratulation that speak past the audience; done well, they transform institutional heritage into emotional capital that deepens stakeholder loyalty, attracts new audiences, and reaffirms the brand's ongoing relevance. For İGSAŞ — one of Turkey's largest industrial organisations and a foundational force in Turkish agriculture — the 50th anniversary represented an opportunity to tell a story of national significance: five decades of supporting the farmers, landscapes, and food systems that sustain the country. The creative challenge was to develop a visual language capable of honouring this depth of legacy while communicating a living, forward-looking brand.
Our Approach
Kalm Works built the campaign around İGSAŞ's own chosen motto: "Toprağın İzinde" — In the Footsteps of the Soil. This phrase became both the creative brief and the strategic filter for every decision: the campaign needed to feel rooted, organic, and deeply connected to the Turkish agricultural experience, while also carrying the visual authority of a major institutional milestone. We developed an integrated concept that weaves together earth, nature, and agriculture as visual metaphors for İGSAŞ's values, blending these thematic elements with the company's 50-year timeline of achievements and its aspirations for the future. Every visual decision — colour palette, typographic choices, compositional structure — was governed by the dual imperative of honouring the past while signalling confident, purposeful progress.
Our Process
Heritage Research & Concept Development — Studied İGSAŞ's 50-year history, core values, and the "Toprağın İzinde" motto to develop a concept that authentically reflects the brand's agricultural mission and milestone significance.
Thematic Visual Language — Defined the visual metaphor system: earth tones, natural textures, organic forms, and agricultural imagery curated to evoke rootedness, growth, and national pride.
Key Visual Design — Created the primary anniversary key visual: a carefully composed image combining typographic milestone elements with thematic photography and illustration, designed to function as the visual anchor for all campaign materials.
Multi-Format Adaptation — Adapted all key visuals for digital and print applications: high-resolution files optimised for large-format outdoor media, digital screens, press materials, and internal communications.
Technical Optimisation — Ensured all visuals were prepared in the correct colour profiles, resolutions, and file formats for seamless use across every channel and production process.
